Sky + App

Recently, when viewing the TV guide BBC1 has disappeared! BBC2 is showing but not BBC 1. Thoughts? 🤔

Does it appear on Channel 801 for you ?

My mistake. It is now Channel 115 instead of 101. Should've looked more carefully! 🙄

115 might not be the one for your local region, to see if it is what program shows up at 10.30pm this evening, it will either show your local news or it will say "This is BBC One" meaning no program will be broadcast so if this is the case have a look at 801.

I have a similar problem. Both BBC1 101 and 115 (HD) have always been on the app TV guide. About 3 weeks ago for no reason 101 just dissappeared overnight. Just today (overnight) 115 has also dissappeared. ( BBC2 102 and BBC4 116 still showing). This is a big nuisance as I regularly use the Sky Go App to record to my Sky Go box. 

I thought I would delete the app and reload from my Android phone. When I went to Play Store to reload it, it showed as "Open" rather than "Install", so it opens but the app icon does not show anywhere. Another frustration!

Yes, it is very frustrating! 115 has also disappeared for me too! Even when it was there I couldn't get local news, only national would show. What a pain. Come on SKY , sort it out! 🙄

Have just spoken with a (very helpful) guy at Sky who informed me that the SKY + App is out of date and to use the SKY GO one. He's right, all of the listings including BBC are there. 👍

My comments relate to the Sky Go app. I have never used the Sky + app.

I can use 801 for BBC 1 HD on the app, but you can only get to it with a lot of scrolling, which is a pain!

This discussion is about the Sky+ app so in that app so you don't have to scroll you can add it to your favourites by going to settings and adding it.

No that is the board title, the heading for this thread is Sky + App.

Have a look when you go to reply it will say Re: Sky+ App as that is the subject you are replying to.

Apologies caesarome, I came direct from a google search which then only displayed the board title!

I have regularly used the Sky+ app for many years, well before I had a Sky+ box, so I was disappointed to see a message on the app as follows "The Sky+ app will no longer be supported from May 31st"

I use the app several times a week as the quickest way to find a programme I might have missed, or to send record instructions to my box, etc., so I will really miss it 😔

Does anyone know if they will be releasing a new app to replace it or whether it will still work, but just not updated after May 31st or will it be like Never Miss, just gone? 

If it will be gone, does anyone know of a similar app that can be used?  I still have the Sky+ box and have no intention of upgrading at the moment.
