Hi,
Since I have a had my diamond status, I have only ever had 1 relevant sky vip gift. The rewards have no bearing on me, nor are they of interest. There seems to be quite a limited and one dimensional range of rewards.
In terms of the ballot for sports and entertainment, again over past 2 years I have had no success.
It appears unless I am in to arts and crafts, I will always be disappointed. This just doesn't seem fair and equal.
Kind regards
Brian

It's an extra which doesn't cost anything, and I imagine it's a way for Sky to share the promotional offers they receive. A wider range of rewards would doubtless be an expense for Sky which would inevitably be passed on to customers, meaning we would be paying for them. Not something I'd be willing to do.

I agree I'm also a vip diamond. All the cinemas are not near me and .the other prizes .are not relevant to me .come on sky make vips feel like vips. Not like its a waste of time .idris elber make sky vip look good when it's not

The only rewards that sre relevant are competitions, I don't see a entry jnto a competition as a reward.

The prize might be.
Point is there are more VIPs than prizes.

The VIP rewards never seem relevant to me a y0 year old single lady. I totally undetstand thst it's a 'free extra' but the way we're constantly bombarded by adverts, with Idris Elba telling us how special we are is, frankly, both laughable and annoying.
Either actuslly do something to make us feel like VIP's or stop pretending that you do

Don't watch the ads. I find all ads irritating and avoid them.
By all means let Sky know if you find the VIP scheme to be of little value. We're a Community of customers, same as you, so your views here are falling on ears which are not completely deaf, but somewhat hard of hearing!

Apoligies. I thought that as you and others had made similar complaints to me this would be a good platform Seems I was wrong and neither the Sky or 'The Community' is interested.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe thing with Sky VIP is fif you don't buy into the hype over it then you wil not be disapointed. Apart from a few free Sky Store films I have had nothing out of it but it doesn't bother me at all especially as all Sky customers have VIP status so it doesn't grant you anything special that anyone else wouldn't be able to have.

Does anyone win the sports tickets? I've been a VIP (LOL) for 5 years and I've never won a bean. In fact, all I've ever got out of it is a couple of rubbish movies free which I wouldn't have watched anyway.
You put your entry in, it disappears into the ether and you hear no more about it! A bit like every other thing I've ever entered in my life.
Still, I'll be retiring soon at which point I'll have to consider whether Sky is actually good value. To be blunt, I mostly watch Netflix and Prime these days. Already ditched BT Sport.

I think it's pointless rubbish I've been with sky for ten years and this is supposed to be a thank you for my loyalty by giving me some gifts. Mark 39 luck of the draw we'll that's not fair, also no one would want to pay extra again if its a gift then we wouldn't or shouldn't be charged extra. I feel they should either do it fairly or not at all how can they market it as a loyalty gift if you have to go in a raffle for it.

Seeing as ALL Sky customers have a VIP status i'm not sure how you propose Sky could offer things like sporting or event tickets without those who are interested registering for a ballot.

Ignore it, then. What do you expect when there are more VIPs than promotions?

Mark38 derrrrrrr that's my point I'll try even harder to dumb it down for you. Instead of a few promotions that you have to enter and be lucky give everyone a small token of gratitude also other Mark not everyone is a vip I know lots of people who don't bother registering.
