Hi Sky Team,
The CAPTCHA you are using on this forum is enormously outdated. There is nothing wrong with my eyesight, yet some of the text is impossible to read, resulting in needing to refresh several times. This is a very poor user experience. Sure, 10 years ago this was the done thing...but not any more. There are many modern options to make this better, with reCaptcha and hCaptcha to name but two.
There are more elegant ways to ensure a visitor is human without forcing difficult to solve CAPTCHAs on every user, and listening to the text is a poor workaround and not available always.
I suspect this will come with the answer of 'thanks! our teams are always happy to hear feedback' and then nothing will be done about it but I wanted to flag it nontheless.
Thanks

Possibly not even that, as we're mainly customers here 🙂
I agree the textual captcha is hard to read - I rarely see it, but when I do, I use the spoken option.

Next to the Captcha is a little speaker icon, if you click it then it will read the letters out loud and that way if you're struggling to see them visually, you can have it said out verbally, hope this helps.

The spoken option is easier.

true but if trying to use in the lunge with the wife watching tv, can be hard to hear - but I guess could use headphones.
It just annoys me as I never used to get the captchas ever, until about 5 months back when I changed my ISP so definitely something from skys end, which is doubting the validity or something of the account and asking for a captcha - usually about 3 or 4 by the time ive managed to enter one correctly
