This one made it 🙂

Maybe the forum filters are being triggered by your posts

Re: Error posting to community

Great, thank you! I've been trying to put in a suggestion for the forum but it does seem it might hit a trigger. Thanks for the reassurance!

Re: Error posting to community

Ok it's definitely a trigger. I've been asking about how to post in a specific context because I've had some issues with some unproductive responses. And that keeps being deleted.

How to ask questions about the community

Hoping this one doesn't get deleted. Does anybody know of a way to ask a question in any of these forums to the wider community? There are some very productive responses, but there are certain groups on here that are pretty aggressive and I'm trying to find a way to bypass them and reach the friendly community.

All threads are available to ALL forum users, any one can reply to any post as long as they follow forum rules

Re: How to ask questions about the community

Yeah I get that they're all available, I'm just trying to suggest/find a way for a certain group to maybe not reply to my post. Level 16 up is maybe the way to say it that doesn't cause the delete - they're pretty harsh on the broadband one at least, and asking them to maybe hold off just fires them up more. It'd be nice to have a way to say "hey would you mind" and for them to back off.

@Sky1011  As already advised in other threads you cannot stop anyone or just certain sections of the community from replying.

The answer provided by @Annie+UK  is correct.  It would be the same if I created a thread and excluded you from replying, it would not be fair and would go against the community rules.

@Sky1011  I've replied in  respectful way to all your posts, perhaps use the report function if you feel anyone is replying that you feel they shouldn't.

The tool is there for all users to use.

Re: How to ask questions about the community

I've asked you not to, so by definition your reply is disrespectful.
