OK, I don't subscribe to Sky, but have an account, basically from Super 6 days. I login after most matches of my currently pretty useless team, just to watch the couple of minutes highlights, basically the goals.

Suddenly yesterday, I'm finding, I can no longer access it, only getting, I'm in UK, never used a VPN, and that currently useless team is Huddersfield Town. I've checked for updates, switched completely off etc, so have no idea why this is now happening. I've used the site for many many years. Any help please?

Re: Access

Sorry, completely confused. I asked why I couldn't watch the highlights of the Huddersfield match on Tuesday night? I've been able to watch the two minute highlights for donkeys years once logged in. Now I can't, I can't even watch the match before that, a match I've already watched. It now states not available in my location again.

My location is UK. I do't use a VPN, still have same internet as I did two weeks ago, but for some unknown reason, Sky now will not let me watch.
It's sad for us elderly people, there's no real way of actually getting in touch with Sky, forums like this, as has been shown, are of little help either.
I guess, all it means, it's just one more thing in life to give up on. I've tried the obvious as I said, shutting down completely, clearing the cache, cchecking for updates, and all to no avail.

I'm in my 2nd term of broadband with YouFibre, as in 2nd 18 month contract, so why they've suddenly decided that's a problem, I have no idea.
Sure I don't have a subscription, but why allow one to login,w watch clips, then decide to remove it, without even giving anyone a reason why. As I said, old frustrated and often don't see the point of making the effort with such things anymore.

Sky Sports Video Clips.

I don't have a Sky subscription, but do have a login for Sky Sports, and for decades have always been able to access the short video clips for say the football. These only last two minutes and it's never been a problem.
I'm now finding it says I can't access them in my location, which is ludicrous,as I'm in UK and have never used a VPN if that makes any difference.

Two years ago we changed from copper Plusnet to fibre, with the only company able to supply us YouFibre. Again a UK company providing fibre ONLY in the UK.

I tried to watch Huddersfields game last Thursday, and got the unavailable your location message, even though I'd watched their previous games highlights. ( but can't now.) Nor can I watch anything. As I said, TWO years I've had Youfibre and Sky appear to have suddenly decided for video purposes anyway, that it's not in UK. My account says UK, but it works neither on app or website.
It has to be this, as today I used my phone data, and hey presto, it works fine.
For someone in their 70s, it's slightly upsetting, because much as I keep up to date with stuff, their website is a minefield giving no indication of anybody to get a answer from.
No idea why they suddenly decide these things, or which idiot has never heard of YouFibre, if that's the case, but it would be nice to know if their system will ever recognise it.......like it did for nigh on two years. Sorry for venting, and thanks if anyone has any suggestions.

@MacArthur

The same video clips should be available via Youtube so you could always try that to see if you can access them.
