On your Android mobile how do you access your emails, do you login to the Sky website or do you use an email app ?

Same question about your laptop, are you logging into the Sky website or using an app ?

@wobblyshirl if you use IMAP in your email settings, what you do with your email on one device will be replicated on others. If you use POP it won't be.

My undertanding is that If you delete an email on a device with IMAP settings, it should automatically delete from the mail server. There's no setting to add if you're accessing via sky.com - that connects directly to the mail server.

If you already have email open in sky.com you might need to refresh the page or log out and log in again for the deletion on your mobile to be reflected in your server view.

The only other possibility I can think of, its that there's a setting in the app you're using on your mobile to force the server to keep emails that you've deleted eslewhere. I'm not sure that such a device setting can actually exist as it defeats the purpose of IMAP.

That is how it should work if you are using IMAP on one device as deleting on one should see the same emails deleted on the other.
