smtp.tools.sky.com (offline) is there a problem?

Good morning

Not sure if anybody can help but my Apple Mail with my Sky/Yahoo Email stopped receiving messages over the weekend advising there was an issue with the sky smtp certificate. I deleted the account and tried to add it back but its still not working.

When I look at Account Setting under Yahoo IMAP - Advanced Server Settings its showing Outgoing Mail Account - smtp.tools.sky.com (offline)

Can anybpdy help?

Thanks in advance

I would delete the account & re-add it & use Yahoo as the provider, enter your Sky email account details then confirm/authenticate the account - this will take you to a Yahoo sign-in page - afterwards the account will be added. IMO the Tools server details are now out-of-date & should not be used.
You can also try changing the server to Yahoo's.

Virginia.
I don’t work for Sky.
If I have helped then please leave a like.

@Rajmak

The Apple clients frequently report problems with the Sky servers, but (AKAIK) that is a problem with the Apple clients.

Obviously Apple people disagree and say it's Sky. So who knows?

As @twilight+princess says, try using the Yahoo servers. If it's possible to set them manually they are:

imap.mail.yahoo.com and smtp.mail.yahoo.com
