sky mail on Chromebook

Hi.

I have bought a Asus Chromebook, and begining to regret it. I bought it to run my 3d printer and laser cutting machines. Both programs that run these dont run on chromebook. It now looks as Sky mail dosnt work either. Or am I doing it wrong? All I keep getting is "cant connect to the server" Any advice would be greatfull. Apart from buy a new computer.

Thanks

Try using these settings if you are using an app:

Select either "Other" or "Not Yahoo" then use these settings:

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

Server - imap.tools.sky.com
Port - 993
Requires SSL - Yes

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

Server - smtp.tools.sky.com
Port - 465
Requires SSL - Yes
Requires authentication - Yes

You might need to generate a 16 digit password and use that instead of your usual one, you can do that here:

How are you trying to access Sky email on your Chromebook?

Using the browser you would log in here as normal. https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email
