request a new recovery code
I am not being sent a code to login to emails
I need to have a new rcovery code sent, so I can check the telephone number

You can't request a recovery code as you need to use the one you were asked take a note of when setting this up as you had to tick a box to say you did this,
If you didn't do this then you will have to call Sky and ask them to turn this off for you which can take a little while to happen. Just don't let them tell you to go to Yahoo as they can not help.

@leestoner to do that a Verification Code has first to be sent to the mobile number you set up.
If you didn't make a note of the Recovery Code when you first set up 2 step login, you'll need to call Sky to request they turn off 2 step login on your behalf. It will take several days.
