It was emailed to you when you first obtained and used a verification code.

You should be able to access your emails via this link:

https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email/

Then you should be able to locate the email with the recovery code on it.

@gedasmith5

When you signed up to 2FA you were given a recovery code so if you didn't make a note of it then check the email you were also sent.

To turn off 2FA sign in with the recovery code so at the login select "can't sign in with the code" link. You'll then be asked for the recovery code.

Re: recovery code

Ridiculous. I don't have the email anymore, how can I have the recovery code resent to me?

There is no option to have it sent to you as this is how it has been set up by Sky/Yahoo.

I take it you didn't make a note of it, despite you confirming on screen that you did....

logging into your sky account---- scroll to the bottom of the page----click on contact us

then click on sky yahoo mail---then click on two step verification---how to turn off---I found it and it worked for me so good luck

Yes, that works if you have access to the mobile originally used to set up 2 step verification.

That appears no longer to work, then.
