perhaps a scam email from sky

I have received an email pertaining to be from Sky stating that I need to get an update on the way I access my emails.  It says that if I do nothing I will not be able to access email. Has anyone else received anything similar, is it genuine or is it a scam.

I agree with @GD1 . Without any doubt, it's a scam.

I've just received the following.  I'm guessing it too is a scam.

Dear Sky Member,

Due to some recent change and upgrade, Your Mail version is outdated. Failure to upgrade will result in a permanent closure of the account. Follow the link below to upgrade.

That is correct @nickang it is a scam as there is no outdated version and you don't need to upgrade anything in regards to your Sky email account.
