issues login and a message that looks like spam

I have had an issue  with email login this morning after receiving an email 2 days ago that looked like spam from so ignored it.

Was it genuine and should I have clicked the link i wonder.

Almost certainly it was an attempt to scam you and you were right to ignore it.

You should never click on a link if you are not sure if it is a legit one or not and from what you have said it sounds like you were sent a scam email so you did the right thing by deleting it.

Hi, yes that is what I normally do but it did say the update needed to be in 48 hours and its 48 hors since that mail I have had problems.

also I have now seen discussions on sky mail and outlook so I am thinking it may be genuine.

Trying to get someone o from sky on the phone is a nightmare but wuld obviously confirm or not if the email was genuine.

Hi, I have spoken to sky who have confirmed the email was spam, also it looks as if my login is sorted.
