email problems

I have tried multiple times to get a six digit code sent to my mobile without success, I have phoned four times and always told it would be fixed within twenty four hours and to date I still have no access to my emails. I only use my laptop for emails  and don't have apps on my phone. Please help

@MAUREEN+BLACK there's a known issue with receipt of Verification Codes affecting some customers which has outstanding for a while now. You can use your Recovery Code to turn off 2 step verification until it's fixed and then re-set it up again if you wish.

It would have been shown on screen when you set up 2FA.

If you don't have it you will need to ask Sky to turn it off for you.

@MAUREEN+BLACK it was displayed on screen when you set up 2 step verification with a recommendation that you make a separate note of it.

Without it all you can do is ask Sky to turn off 2 step verification on your behalf. It will take a few days.

@MAUREEN+BLACK

When setting 2FA up you had to tick a box to say you had made a note of it because if you didn't tick the box you couldn't continue with the setup process.
