Yahoo e-mail 2-step verification code missing

I am struggling to access my Yahoo e-mail, need a QR issued by a retailer.

Access is fine, password good then despite having not changed my mobile number the 2-step verification code is either not being issued or I am not receiving it. Please help Sky...

@Duncs66 sorry, I'm a bit confused by your post.

Are you saying that you can't log into your Sky Yahoo Mail account because you're not receiving the 2 Step login Verification Code? If so , this is probably because of a known fault affecting some Sky customers, which Sky are working on. You could use your Recovery Code to turn off 2 step verification pending a fix.

Hi Mark, exactly that. Thank you. 
I don't know where my recovery code is, my bad admin I know. 
I was testing to see if others had the same failure and how they got around it...

@Duncs66 unfortunately it's the Recovery Code which is the easy way around it! Without that, you could either wait for this fault to be fixed (it has taken a couple of weeks so far, so I assume it's not straightforward) or call Sky and ask them to turn off 2 step verification on your behalf. You might need to persevere as it seems from recent posts that not all Sky advisers know what needs to be done to achieve that.
