SKY ... when are you going to do something about Yahoo deleting our emails unexpectadly. I have complained constantly to both Sky and Yahoo each blames the other. I have no emails atall in my inbox , they have all been removed in the last 5 minutes, no sign of them in any othe box. This is enough to make me want to leave sky ! I am fed up with Yahoo and it's antics.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThis is a Yahoo issue as they run the email service and sadly is a common issue with them which might be why this is available that might be worth try:

If they are restored then it would be advisable not to store all your emails in your inbox if this is where they were located, but instead set up separate folders to keep them in.
You are not forced to use Sky Yahoo email as there is much better suppliers out there where this doesn't happen like Gmail so it might be worth giving some thought to moving everything enmass to an alternative email supplier as it would be easier to do this rather than leave Sky over something as basic as an email issue.

Did you by any chance reply to an email asking you to update/verify your email address recently?

Yes to to replying to an email asking you to update/verify your email address?
They're scam emails, containing a link to a fake Web page designed to capture your username and password. If you've entered those details, it's entirely possible that a scammer has logged into your email account and deleted your emails.

You should never respond to such emails so you will need to do a few things now incase your account has been compromised:
Login to your online account:
https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email/
Go to Settings > More Settings > Filters and remove anything that you did not setup.
Then go to Settings > More Settings > Mailboxes > Your email address > Reply-to address
And again remove anything here that you did not setup.
Then logout and change your password:

Actually the 2FA is genuine, but very annoying. And, it's not an email, it's a notification.

Thankyou. I will do that in future.

Do you have to be rude about answering. I was expecting help, not being told off for answering a notification which I had already checked was genuine. Fortunatley anothe community menmber has given me good advice, politely, which I have followed.

You haven't identified the answer you're referring to, but in all honesty I don't think there's anything 'rude' in the replies here. nor is anyone telling you off. It's just advice on how to deal with messages.

There is no rude answers here whatsoever as all we have been trying to do is to help you so you must be misreading what has been posted.

If you read it correctly, it was a reply to @caesarome.
I just didn't want anyone to think the 2FA notification was not genuinely from Sky.
I didn't have any advice for you, as it had already been given.
