Unreliable imap server connection on iphone

It is almost impossible to get emails downloaded to either my IPhone or laptop without server connection problems. This is a daily problem. Both have up to date software & I've tried all the suggested fixes. 
How do I contact sky to complain about this ?

This is a known issue that Apple are investigating as it has been reported a number of times before. Until it is fixed you can login to the Sky website to access your emails:

If you take a quick look through the forum, you'll see that it's a known problem with Apple Mail, which appears to have arisen following an IOS update.

 

Apple are apparently investigating.

 

Sky Yahoo Mail continues to work normally in other devices and apps. You can still login via your browser as an alternative until it's fixed.

I have exactly the same issue!. Only have this on my home sky broad band. It works fine at work (BT), family homes (Virgin) and my mobile (data dethering), just happens when at home using sky. I have reported it several time and get told its nothing do to with them but last time i escalated it and it was fixed the next day and i had a text to confirm it was resolved. Then a few days later the issue started again. Some days it works, some days it doesn't, more often its not working!!  I'm fed up with it, i'm tied into a contract for another year so cannot change supplier and sky first line support fob you off!!

It's not the same issue, then. The issue discussed here concerns accessing Sky,Yahoo Mail via Apple Mail

But they all use IMAP and that is the issue.

I cannot access any emails using IMAP setting on any devises when using sky broadband at home, works everywhere else! Whether it's outlook on my laptop, apple mail on phone or iPad. IMAP is still the same issue on SKY.

There's no known general issue with using the IMAP protocol with Sky broadband. There is a known problem with Apple Mail.

 

Are you using the Outlook app or the Outlook mail client? What error message are you seeing?.

It works fine for me via my Sky Broadband connection so have you tried a reboot your your broadband hub to see if that kicks it into life.

There is an issue with IMAP protocol with Sky broadband!  

 

I am using Outlook and Apple mail. They fixed it last time I managed to get it escalated but then stopped working again a few days later. They only place i have the issue is on my home sky broadband , it works everywhere else (as I said on BT, Virgin and mobile data tethering). Its definately a sky related only issue.

Yes, i've done all that with Sky customer service, thats why they escalated it and it got resolved the very next day. Sky even text me to say it was resolved.

There might be an issue with your email but it doesn't mean that everyone using IMAP on a Sky Broadband connection up and down the country is having the same issues, if there was a widespread issue this forum would be flooded with similar posts to yours and at present you are the only person reporting such an issue. As I said I am on Sky Broadband and don't have such an issue.

I didn't say it was everyone having the same issue. But if you search for IMAP you will see quite a other few people having similar issues so its not just me! But thank you for your unhelpful comments... do you work for SKY???

It says in my post I don't work for Sky. People might be having imap issues but as explained that is usually due to an issue with the app on iPhones and iPads that we believe is due to an Apple update.
