Re: Two-Step verification

Sorry I am not really up on all this tech stuff

I log out of my emails  and close down my laptop when I have finished using it.,  certainly at night.

When I start up and come to log on my sky mail it accepts my log details and sends me a verification code which I feel ok with.

The p.roblem is, when I enter the code it then asks me to sign in again and the whole process is repeated.......eventually I see my emails.

Really fed up with the whole debacle.

Re: Two-Step verification

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@modestmillionaire log in directly to Sky Yahoo Mail here: www.sky.com/signin/email and you should only have to log in once and receive one verification code.

Tick the remember me for 30 days box.

When you've finished using email don't log out, just close your browser and when you next log in, you won't need a verification code.

Re: Two-Step verification

Many thanks Mark for your reply.

I followed your proceedure to the letter.

Once I did the Two Step Verification it just asked for my passord which I typed in.......not failiang to tick " Remember me for 30 days "

This put me directly into my emails ......great.

When finished I exited emails .........Without signing out !

As normal, when finishing my work I shut down laptop as usual.

Now, when I fire up in a morning, I search for my Sky mail, put requested password in and bingo, no problems.

I guess that I now need to remember to re generate the Two Step process after 30 days.

Thanks again.
