To generate a third-party app password for Sky Yahoo Mail

To generate a third-party app password for Yahoo Mail, sign in to the Yahoo Account Security page, click Create app password under "External connections," 

I can't seel to locate my account security page  to be able to progress with create app password under external connections

@aaaw although Sky Yahoo Mail uses the Yahoo Mail platform, they're different systems and have a different setup. I believe Sky's app password generator was made unavailable several weeks ago. Their advice in the FAQ sectionhere is to log in via sky.com: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/problems-accessing-sky-mail-from-your-email-app

Although Sky did remove the app generator for a while, is is currently working again, goodness knows for long.

Edit: Just what app are you trying to use, most no longer requre a generated paswword, the only major one is Outlook Classic.

New Outlook doesn't need one.

Looks like Sky may have removed it again.

As I asked @aaaw previously, what app are you trying to use?

I'm trying to use the Android Gmail app which is dead in the water as far as Sky email is concerned. I installed the Yahoo app to access my Sky email because I don't really want to use the Sky website for email.
