Suspected Fraud

I suspect that my email address is being used by someone else. I have been having problems receiving emails on my Samsung, since Wednesday but can still get them on my I-pad. I have been trying to sort this out with Sky/Yahoo to no avail and have set up new password and two factor authentication. I have just received an email from TUI customer services replying to a query from someone in Rhodes who was asking where their tour bus was. This came through on my I-pad. I am certainly not in Rhodes and quite annoyed that I have to go through these checks and still not able to access my own account while someone else can.

It could well be that someone has in error made a mistake with their email address by either adding in an extra character or not, hence you get this email, this does happen as it happened to a member of my family a few years ago. It stopped quick enough as they must have noticed their mistake.

Others are reported the Outlook issue could be fixed now.

If you have been able to change your password and add 2FA, it's unlikely someone has access to your account.

Getting an email intended for someone else is not uncommon, and is usually because someone mistakenly gave your email address as theirs.
On the Samsung are you using Outlook as there is a current problem with that app. See other posts in the forum.

Re: Suspected Fraud

Thank you for your reply.  Yes I am on Outlook and I had noticed that there is a problem with outlook but then got the e-mail reply to a question supposedly from me which I did not send, which was a concern. But if there is a problem with Outlook, how is it that I get the e-mails on my I-pad and desk-top but not my phone, as they are also Outlook.
