Sky News Down?
I have been trying all morning to connect to sky News on channel 501. It says there is a technical fault with this channel. All other channels seem to be working okay? Has anybody else have a problem with sky News on their sky glass?

Have you performed a restart from the settings menu? There were issues with several live channel streams earlier which have been resolved for some by restarting their device.
Alternatively, search for the movie that is currently playing and watch it on demand instead.

There is a known issue that started earlier today.
Sky are aware of this issue.

"Recording" doesn't work the same way on a streaming platform as it does on the traditional broadcasting methods. You aren't specifying it to record that particular broadcast of the programme, you are adding that programme to your playlist. Your playlist will be a link, most commonly to on-demand viewings on that show which could be on a third party app, or it could be from Sky's own on-demand catalog. If the programme isn't available on-demand, and Sky have the legal right to take a cloud recording from the broadcast channel, they will do so and the playlist will then link to that cloud recording.
