That's what they've told me wait basically for it to be switched off.
So I can still log into my main account via (Sky Account web page / no apps) and when you click into your Yahoo Email the following message is appearing.....
We're improving your email security for Sky Yahoo Mail accessed from email applications such as Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail.

thanks for the advice 🙂 - it appears unreasonable for Sky not to be able to offer feedback on their process - i dont know how common this is but i'm not the only person highlighting the issue here?
I've called Sky several times - keep getting passed around like a hot potato - the last person advised I remove the SIM and reinsert mid call on the promise of a call back which didnt happen - in hindsight it looked a convenient get-out step as opposed to genuine help/support - it shouldnt be a case of 'just persevere'

Yes the same- please enter 2 step verification straight away sky/mail.
I can still get into sky/account but then try clicking on the drop down into mail that way you still have the same result!

That's not really surprising. Two step login is for email, rather than your SkyID.
I assume 6 March is the date on which Sky will turn off 2 step login on your behalf, so no, probably no point calling again before then.

@Mark39 wrote:It's very unlikely that Sky will reply here. Until whatever is causing you not to receive the codes is resolved, your best bet is to ask Sky to turn off 2 step login on your behalf. There's a process and a specialist team for that, but you might have to persevere until you find a front line adviser who knows who to pass your call on to. It takes 21 days to turn off.
Hi @Mark39
This is correct however there is now ben an update this and it now only takes up to 72 hours to turn off 😀
Thanks
