Sky Email is copying to my Google mail account.

I am hoping someone can help me with this problem as it's driving me mad. All my sky emails are copying to my Gmail account,  I have never clicked anything to request this.

When I delete from my sky email account I then have to go to my Gmail account and delete them again it's a real pain, I don't want a copy to go to my gmail account. I have looked at every setting and I can't find anything to stop this happening. Anybody got any ideas, thanks

@maryjane10  Have you setup any auto forward for your Sky email to be sent to gmail as otherwise they won't just appear in the gmail account.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

If I remember correctly, Sky (or maybe Yahoo) removed this option a while ago.

So the other possibility is that Gmail is collecting them from Sky via POP.

@maryjane10 go to your Gmail settings and see if you have a setting for "check email from other accounts".

Hi Jayach,  I went to where you suggested accounts and import but there is nothing at the top saying Check Emails from other accounts and my grant access to your account has the same box's ticked as you have. Any other ideas thanks

It isn't at the top but halfway down the page.

Re: Sky Email is copying to my Google mail account.

I looked all the way down the page and all the other links at the top. I then logged in to sky mail while I was on the main computer and not the iPad up flashed a pop up saying you are forwarding your emails to gmail and do you want to review I could not beilieve it must have read my mind.  So it's all sorted thanks so much as you put me on the right road. A lesson for me to learn is to not try and do a job like this on the iPad and go to a main computer as there is so many more settings for sky mail and gmail on there. iPads are all well and good but they don't do even half as much as a main computer. Thanks all

I would never try to use an IPad/ Phone/Tablet to configure anything. So many compromises are made to accommodate their limitations that it  becomes impossible.
