Signing in to Sky Yahoo email

I've changed from Bing to Google but now I can't get Sky Yahoo emails as it never sends me the 2 step identification code to my mobile. Why?

@George2141  so far as I'm aware, Bing and Google are both search engines. You wouldn't use either to access Sky Yahoo Mail, so I'm a bit unclear about the issue.

No matter what search engine you use the sign into to your online account via this link remains the same:

Is the mobile number correct that is shown on screen ?

Same here. Using Google Chrome but it's not a search engine issue.

I try to log in to Yahoo. It says it will send be a 6 digit code to a mobile number that looks like it matches mine.

Except the code never arrives. Ask it to resend code, still doesn't arrive.

I need access to my emails so this is a big problem.

In the messaging app on your phone have you looked in the spam folder to see if the verification texts are there ?

I don't believe this is a browser issue as Google Chrome works perfectly for me.

@Tractor+Shark yep Chrome is a browser. Check your device's spam folder in case the SMS has ended up there.

It's not in the spam folder of my Messaging app. I did check earlier but still not coming through

I am having the same problem, it is a pain in the butt having to provide security code from your mobile everytime i want to read emails.

They dont think about the people that has bad eyesight, yesy there is a box to tick so that it remembers you for 30 days but that does not work either

@Tractor+Shark at the bottom of the screen there's a link entitled 'use a different number'. Tap on that and enter your mobile number even if it's the same. 

Then try again. If ypu still don't receive the code, you'll have to call Sky.

@john.e it doesn't sound like the same problem, if you're receiving the Verification Code when it's sent, albeit it's inconvenient. .

The tick box works fine providing you don't sign out.

This happened to me a few weeks ago and is happening again now. I rang Sky last time and they said they had lots of complaints about it, and to wait a few days for it to be resolved. I'm hoping they are aware and will resolve again soon cos it's an absolute pain being locked out!

@Shezza3 I very much doubt Sky will undo it this time. It's not a fault that needs to be resolved. If you can tell us what problem you're having, we'll try to help.

Hi, it's telling me to put my phone number in to receive a verification code, and I never get the message. This is exactly what happened a few weeks ago.
