Thank you I'll call in, just a shame there sending code to my old number and not updated one or wouldn't have any issues

Changing your number in your Sky details doesn't change your 2 step login number.
The only way to do that is via the link in @caesarome's post, but as you've discovered, that sends a Verification Code to your old mobile number first to verify your identity before you can change it to a new number.
