Setup Outlook on Desktop for SKY (Yahoo) Email

None of the setup threads seem to work. The YAHOO mail app is very poor compared to Outlook, I have tried many times (port 993/465 ect) but nothing ever works. Does anyone have concise working instructions to allow Outlook to access your sky Email.

@pozleeh65

Your heading says desktop, but you mention the Yahoo app, which is (AFAIK) only available for mobile/tablet.

So just what do you want to use Outlook on, and if desktop, will you want to use Classic Outlook or New Outlook?

If you're using Outlook then during setup choose Yahoo & then enter your Sky email address & password, you'll then be taken to Yahoo in order to sign in & verify the account & confirm you wish to add it to Outlook, you'll then be taken back to that program/app to finish setup.

This is how I setup Sky with Outlook classic on pc & also the Outlook app on my iPad/iPhone.

Virginia.
I don’t work for Sky.
If I have helped then please leave a like.

I think you must have been using New Outlook on PC, Classic Outlook is not OAuth compatible with Yahoo (or Sky) accounts.

Classic Outlook will require a generated password, which is why I asked @pozleeh65 just which one they wanted to use.
