How to select multiple emails for deletion?

Yes but how to select multiple emails. It is too labour intensive otherwise.

Yes and yes, I do see the little box but I was hoping that there was a way to select multiple emails/little boxes rather than manually select them separately one by one. Rather labour intensive when I have a lot to delete. Thanks

This used to work but not sure it does now:

"hover" over the Inbox header you will get a down arrow, click on that and one of the options is "clean my inbox" and that will allow you to send all the emails to the Archive folder.

Click the little box for the first email you want to delete, scroll down to the last one you want to delete and click it's little box whilst holding down the shift key. All the intervening posts will also be selected.

Ace-thanks for sharing and taking the time to answer. I Will do on desktop. Shame it can't be done on phone. Mind you, it probably can - I just don't know how!  😁 thanks again.
