They said we would get a 40% discount and a free laptop ...
That sounds highly unlikely to me, I'm afraid.
Did you give them just your email address? Or any other details?

They wanted my email and access it. I had to press 'yes it's me' logging in.
Not that isn't a legit call so first thing you need to do is to change your online password which you can do via this link:
https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/
Then you might want to give some thought to setting up two step verification as per this:
https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-yahoo-mail/two-step-verif/articles/two-step-verification
If you do set this up it in important that you make a note of and keep safe the recovery code.

As you gave them access to your account you'll need to secure your account immediately by signing in & changing the password however I suspect the scammers will have locked you out by doing that. You'll need to call Sky & state you've been scammed & cannot access your account.
The scammers will most likely order expensive devices which if so you'll need to cancel or refuse delivery, if not the scammers will contact you again in order to obtain the devices & you'd be liable for the cost.
