If you do not have access to the phone number then all you can do is to call Sky and hope you get to someone that knows about this, there could be a 21 day wait in the process being followed through. Once it has been turned off you can then set it up again with your new phone number.

If you didn't make a note of your recovery code, as Sky recommended when you set it up, then yes you will need to contact Sky.
Personally, once you regain access to the account, I would recommend not setting up 2FA again, not until Sky give us a method of administering it. (which will probably be never)
