I have an email from paul_bayley asking me to click a link to update my sky email. The fact that it comes from an individual makes me suspicous. Has anyone else come across this?
It's saying I'll lose my emails if I don't update, I've been trying to sign in through my sky account but can't get where I need to be.
Doesn't email update automatically?
Moderator note: Removed third party link.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@nellybligh It's a scam that is posted about on a daily basis, there is no updates to emails that would need a user intervention.
Any updates would always been done in the background without a need click links.
The email you have received will link to a non Sky wesbite to obtain personal details for scammers to use.

Find out moreWhen you receive an email like this have a look at how it is addressed to you as they will not use your name but instead it will say something like "Dear customer" or "Dear User". Actual emails from Sky would use your actual name as they would know what it is while these scammers don't.
