Possible scam Email

I got an email which said "  we are closing all our old mailboxes as from today. Please sign in again."

 

Is this a scam?

If the email contains a link for logging in, almost certainly it's scam.

Yes as there is nothing closing do msrk it as spam so it gets deleted.
