Outlook not syncing after password change

Had to reset my pw today and outlook or Gmail will no longer connect and download/sync emails from my sky yahoo email account. I can login online so know details are correct and it accepts all the information through both outlook and Gmail as if it's all OKsmd i get emails through online account that a new outlook/gmail account is accessing my account. I have deleted and reinstalled apps. Removed accounts and deleted cache and data many times with reboots but problem persists, please help 🙂

You will need to replace the password used for those accounts with one you can generate here:

Just so you know, changing your password triggered your account to need a higher level of authentication.

Outlook (on PC) and Gmail don't work with the new method, and the generated password is a "work around"

Thanks very much, wasted best part of the day yesterday and a 2 minute search today sorted the issue !!
