Old Sky Email question/Sky account

Hello,

I am making a discussion in hopes there is a way to contact Sky or beg for some help.
I had a @ Sky.com email years and years ago under a parent's Sky account (I believe it was a linked child account) and used to sign up for sites, and as a recovery for various important things for a while. I was young at the time, and I think after some constant account access issues, I just stupidly looked to alternative emails.
I assume the email/account has been deleted, as emailing the account returns ''address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.'' and trying to log in using my old username/pass just says account locked, call this number that doesn't lead anywhere.

I am begging that there is some way I could pay to rent the sky.com email address, route the old address to a Yahoo, temporarily create a new Sky email, or something! The last two months have been a constantly horrendous weight as I have tried everything to recover important information or accounts that will only work with the Sky email, not my others. I hoped my parents' still working Sky account would offer hope, but nothing.

I am pleading with every last ounce of sanity I have that there is something I can do

@Nat139 what error message do you see if you try to log in to your Sky email account here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email ? Hopefully that will give us an idea of what has happened to it.

Hello,

Sory for late reply.
When I try to sign in with old email it says ''we cant find an account matching...'' Which leads me to think the account is deleted but when I try to sign in with the username, it says '' Account locked/ We apologise for the inconvenience, but we have encountered a problem with your account.'' then says call for assistance but last time I tried it didnt lead anywhere.

@Nat139 Sky may delete accounts which have been inactive for more than 12 months, and unfortunately it does sound from the error message you're seeing when you try to log in using the email address, as though that's what has happened.

By all means give Sky customer services a call to check (Regresttably Sky don't allow phone numbers to be quoted on the forum)

Ok thanks. I guess calling may be my only hope.
Do you have any info on Sky child account/linked accounts to still active Sky accounts? I'm hoping that there may be some help in that fact, but not 100% hopeful.

@Nat139 I don't think it makes any difference, I'm afraid, that the Sky ID the email account is linked to is still active, albeit locked in this case. It's the inactivity on the email account itself, not the Sky ID, that makes it liable for deletion.
