Not receiving 2 stage verification code and lost recovery code

Hi anyone, had any successs with sky agents, I'm not receiving the verification text same number and now I can't access any emails.

spoke to several agents that just passed me from department to department saying ooh that's not us.

@Rob20244 there have been successes posted here, but it does seem that encountering an adviser who knows which team this should be passed on to is a bit hit and miss. You may have to persevere, I'm afraid.

Do you also not have a note of your Recovery Code?

I don't remember even setting up 2-stage verification

Hi- I know there's a few other threads about this.. I can confirm I'm now sorted. 
I had spent over an hour previously getting passed from one advisor to another just for them to say I'm not trained in this and passing me round and round.

 

the only fix is to call up and get an advisor that know's  what they are doing - I did on Monday - and they said upto 21 days but usually  48hrs , tbh  the 2 stage was removed within 24 hrs.

@Rob20244 glad your perseverance paid off (eventually)! Thank you for confirming.

 

Have you re-setup 2 step verification? In light of experience, I imagine you will have kept a separate note of the Recovery Code to avoid the same thing happening again!
