6 digit code not getting through to me to retrieve my Sky Yahoo mail account

Same happening to me too.  Haven't changed my number, my phone or anything else for that matter!  Have spent hours/days trying everything and goodness knows how many times pressing 'send me a code'.  I have no other set up codes and can't remember being asked for one at all at any stage!  I have my email logged in on one device luckily and hoping I don't get locked out of that one!  Come on Sky - something is amiss here! Please sort this out!

@Daz86 , @kazzerd you both postd in an old thread, so I've added your posts to the more recent thread specifically about this,issue. As you can see by the post here marked as the Answer, Sky are aware and investigating.

Meanwhile, you can use your Recovery Code,to turn off 2 step login. If you don't have it, Sky will do it for you but it will take a few days.

Mine has been fixed by a sky agent this morning in the space of a couple of hours. Maybe they are now getting used to this complaint or maybe I just managed to get a good agent who actually listened.

@stephen801 you can use your Recovery Code to turn off 2 step login. If you didn't make a note of it, you'll have to call Sky and ask them to turn it off for you.

@41051vidafrank see Sky's post dated 2 April, marked as the Answer which confirms there's a fault under investigation which affects some customers with receiving Verification Codes.

Until it's fixed, you can use your Recovery Code to turn off 2 step verification, or, if you didn't make a note of it, ask Sky to turn it off on your behalf.

Sky enabled 2FA, I certainly didnt. 5 days and still not disabled, first line support seemed clueless to it,

If you don't normally use the website, how did you get the request for the verification code in the first place?

What do you normally use to access your email?

Ive fixed my problem today, it could be an ios update thats caused it. Basically go into message settings in your iphone, change default all to messages, turn off spam filter (and i turned off imesaages for now) and ping it all starts working. What this doesnt answer is how 2fa got enabled as i dont use it.

If you are now receiving the verification codes, you can turn the 2FA off..
