I rang them and it was fixed within 24 hours. The lady to whom I spoke seemed to be saying that it is very common and said that I wouldn't need to re-register and that it would be perfectly secure without it.

Iam at my wits end trying to log into my sky yahoo account but no one from sky wants to help

Just tell Sky that you've had enough and want to leave. They'll miraculously then find a knowledgable person to take your details and within 24 hours the problem will be resolved. They can do it, they just don't advertise the fact that they have a problem that they cannot resolve, don't wish to publicise that there is a fix (dump the two stage verification nonsense) and, that they have for some inexplicable reason, not told the front end telephone staff in the overseas call centres how to manage.

 

It is, in short, appalling customer service.

We gave  numerous help yesterday but you never replied to any questions we asked you.

I have now stopped receiving emails. Keeps informing me that a verifification code is being sent but never received. Can receive them on my iphone but not on my laptap. Can any one please help

When you say  you can receive the verification codes on your phone, do you mean the phone has the ability to receive texts, but not those from Sky?

The verification text message should be sent to the number shown on screen, if it has not arrived then in your messaging app have a look in the spam section.

Do you mean your emails, do you use an email app on your iPhone because if so that does not require a verification code as you are not logging in as you are on your laptop.

Hi Spoke to a nice young lady at Sky this morning who raised a case with Yahoo and two step verification has just been removed and I have started to receive emails again Thank you Sky

Not sure what they have done but the chances are this could happen again when you next go to login.

Good Morning All,

 

Recently when logging into emails I was presented with the 2FA setup page as normal, this time however there didn't appear to be a 'Setup Later' option like before. Hesitantly I entered by mobile number and seconds later had my code text appear on my phone. Currently everything seems to be working as intended. Fingers crossed it stays working.

 

Hope everyone else is in the same boat and all is working for everyone.
