Hi jayach,

Yes - absolutely. The partial number shows the last 3 digits of my mobile number that hasn't changed for many many years.

The last time I received an SMS one time code from Sky was on 5th March and this was related to my mobile contract which was, at that time, with Sky - now Vodaphone but THE SAME NUMBER.

Since then, and as i mentioned earlier, I have logged into my Sky mail on my Laptop virtually every day but until last Thursday I have never seen the "sign in with 2 step verification screen" and hence have never received an SMS 6 digit code.

Hope this clarifies the issue.

@Bobby+Par your previous posts suggest that yours isn't a problem with receiving the 2 step login Verification Code.

Sky will update the  Verification Code issue once it's fixed. They don't normally give ETAs.

Following formatting PC I am unable to use my SKY email account due to excessive overkill of security by YAHOO. I can login but it keeps asking for a second level code which I cannot receive due to my SKY email locked by YAHOO! YAHOO hides from it's customers and makes contact with them impossible.

Hi @Guru  there does seem to be a problem with yahoo at the minute. I am not receiving the authentication codes and I have seen others with the same issue so it's a matter of waiting for a fix.

@Guru I'm not clear what you mean. The only code emailed to you is sent when you reset your password. Is that what you've done?

The 2 step login Verification Code is sent by SMS so your email account doesn't come into it.

An update - just tried logging in to Sky mail on pc and, lo and behold, I received a Sky Verification Code via SMS. So. I'm now logged in succesfully😁

For me at least, the issue looks to be solved.

Fingers crossed it remains that way.

They are aware ....but not fixing it, and not providing any sort of update.

Over 3 weeks now and still no email access.

I'm also with Vodafone (via Lebara) and have beeen receiving codes O.K. the whole time.

However you might like to turrn the 2FA off, just in case Sky make it worse before it gets better.

Sorry, that's simply not true. This issue started around 3 weeks ago. If you've had problems for 3 months, you must have a different issue.

Can I just confirm, that others are having issues with not receiving a verification code?

I changed my sky account password today & now when I try to access my email account it wants me to sign in, says it will send  a 6 digits code, but I have not received it any yet.

Or is it an issue with yahoo mail?

This thread is discussing the issue whereby the text with the verification code is not being sent to people's mobiles as should have happened with you.

@The+Robster the problem with non-receipt of Verification Codes affects some Sky Yahoo Mail users, but not all. It appears to depend on your mobile network.
