I understand now that my wife has a sky ID but I really don't understand how she has an account and if she has we haven't the faintest idea what the password is.

How did she install her email on the previous phone, she must have known the password at the time?

You could try the forgotten password link, but that will require her account to have a recovery email address, or for her to know the answer to the security question. (if she has one set up)

Once again make sure you are using the correct Sky email address.

Her account would have been created when you added her to your account as an "additional user".

Re: My wife's sky email

I have always used the 16 digit code and it has always worked. The last time was five years ago. But I followed your last link and was able to answer the questions which then gave us an email address we had both forgotten about. So we updated her email and now success we have been able to set up her email with the 16 digit code. Thank you so much for you help. Best wishes

Wow, I really didn't think you would be able to use that link, for most people the email address would be long gone.

Glad you got there in the end.

Just for future reference, (and anyone else reading this thread) the email account password is the important thing.

A 16 digit code can be generated at any time, as long as you know the password.
