My excel spreadsheet attachment will not display in yahoo mail

For a couple of weeks now when I open an excel spreadsheet attachment in Yahoo mail it does not display the contents of the spreadsheet

Are you using a PC if so try to downloading it and then opening it

Yes I'm using a laptop. It was working up until a couple of weeks ago. Just wondering what could have changed to stop it displaying?

I don't think this has anything to do with the email. What OS are you on and what happens when you try to open the attachment?
