I have discovered that all my emails beteen May 21st and December 8th 2020 have disappeared, even from yahoo email site. I did not delete them. /some were important. I'm wondering if there is a way to reciver them

If the emails were in your Inbox, I'm afraid they're gone for good. For the future, best to move emails you want to keep out of your Inbox to a separate folder.

Emails going missing for your Yahoo inbox is sadly a common thing with them which is why you should never use the inbox to store them in, so either move them to a different folder, you can set one up if needs be, or forward them to a different non Yahoo email address for safe keeping.
