Hi guys, I was looking to export an email folder 'nightmare Alison' and now its missing all correspondence from 2023 until to date.
How can I recover these emails?

Do you have any other suggestions?

How do I recover missing emails after being hacked
Follow what seems to have been a hacking of my email account I need help to recover all emails that have disappeared from inbox, sent and saved folders
Please can anyone help as I can't find how to contact any techniacal support?
I have done the recommended changing of password etc and email is active but all emails from before the hack have disappeared

@cgle it's unlikely you were hacked. More likely you inadvertently gave away your login credentials in response to a fraudulent email.
You could try the link posted as the marked Answer which addressed the same question. Unfortunately it's unlikely to recover all your missing emails. If you didn't keep a backup, they'll be gone for good, I'm afraid.
You might want to consider setting up 2 step login as an additional security measure.

That link above works for me so the only way to even try to get them back is by putting in the request to Yahoo as mentioned on it.

Already have 2 step security and very careful and suspicious of emails so would never compromise login.
Can't understand how this can happen
