I had problems getting my mail via my mail accounts on my mac.
I tried removing my mail account from Mac OS and reinstalling. But when I try to add the yahoo account via 'internet accounts', I can enter my emaill address and password, I get the two factor code via my phone and enter that.
then i just get the message 'authentication failed'
This happens whether using the dedicated 'Yahoo" account set up or selescting 'other' and entering ther server details manually.
I can log in fine via safari on my mac and the accounts work fine on my ipad and iphone, but refuse to authenticate on Mac OS (10.15.7).
Any ideas?
