I started getting little blue question marks in the middle of my emails. A little note at top says click "Load content directly". How can I make sure it just loads content directly evey time?

Notwithstanding that my VPN said it was connected at all I decided to delete it completely and that seems to have soved the problem. Thanks for you interest in my trivial problem.
(It is kinda worrying that a vpn can interfere with other stuff even when it says it is not connected to anything!)

That is correct but I don't know what that has to do with this issue so let us know when you have tried a different Web browser.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe thing is all the info I can find on "Network Preferences Prevent Content from Loading on Mac" refer to the Mail app, but the OP says he is using the browser.
@fraser+campbell Have you considered using Mail instead? Are you using a VPN?
