That is strange as it is not what their website says.

If you have BT email and you cancel your broadband with us, you can:

  • Close your BT email
  • Keep your email but with more basic features by getting Basic email, which is free
  • Keep your email with the same features by getting Premium email, which costs £7.50 a month
  • Keep your email with the same features, by linking it to a friend or family member's BT Broadband, which is free

If you don't make a choice yourself, we'll transfer you to Basic email.

My Sister and Brother-in-Law left BT for Sky over a year ago, and both are still using theirs.

Basic email is webmail only, as I understand it.

@Gilly1961  Short answer is you can't as Sky do offer email accounts anymore.

You should just be able to log into your BT Email as you did previously?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Do you mean you want your BT emails to come via your Sky email account, if so try doing it via your BT address.

Login to your BT email account and look for an option to forward your emails to a different address.

@Gilly1961

If you have just joined Sky, you won't have a Sky email address. (unless you had one previously)

I believe your BT address should continue to work, but will become web only. (best to check that with BT as things may have changed)

What exactly do you mean by "linking" it to Sky?

If you have a Sky email address (as you can't create one) then forward them onto your Sky email account one by one.
