Issue with access to Yahoo Mail

Yesterday for some unknown reason my iPad would not connect to Yahoo Mail, I log into Sky as normail, then hit the Mail tab my login details are saved on my iPad and they are input automatically. I pass on the setup 2 factor authentication question and then are greeted with a blank screen?

I have the same setup on my iPhone and that workes perfectly and also on my iMac and that works fine.  I use the iPad a lot when travelling due to screen size.

I have checked the iPad settings (I've not had to touched them for months) against the other devices, login and passwords all agree.

I tried loging into here on my iPad and was also greeted with a blank screen, FYI there are NO on screen messages, nothing.  I have re-set my iPad, reconfirmed the settings & password and still a blank screen when I log in via Sky.

This is being typed on my iMac, but I really need to get my iPad back to accessing my mail.

Suggestions appreciated.

Does this link work for you:

https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email/

If it doesn't try clearing the browsers cache or you could natal a different browser to see if it then works for you.

Re: Issue with access to Yahoo Mail

I forwarded your response to my iPad, I was greeted yet again with a blank screen.

I have copied the login info you supplied and will type it into my iPad browser shortly.

I have re-set my iPad, ie: turn off/turn on which also trashes any caches, 3 times, its the first step for me with glitches. I will double check my iPad because I think there is another way of deleting cache data.

I access the Yahoo Mail by signing into my Sky account and then use the link from there.  It has happily worked without issue for, lets say a couple of years.  It was yesterday, Tuesday when the problem started.

I have had no reason to change my sign in methodolgy nor any system settings. My devices, Mac, iPad and iPhone are bang upto date with regard software and "talk to each other", only the iPad has gone "blind".

Regards

I'm not familiar with Apple devices, but I doubt turning off and on will delete your browser cache. I'd definitely double check for an alternative way of doing it - possibly in your browser settings. Be sure to have no Sky pages open when you carry out the cache deletion

Re: Issue with access to Yahoo Mail

Sorted..........thanks.

I had expected that turning my iPad on and off would clear all caches etc.  As I intemated in my last reply about another way to clear caches, the problem proved to be my Safari browser cache, deleted it and all good.

Humble pie time I should really have thought of that before posting here, your mention of caches awakened a long dead brain cell, which I have also re-booted, so my whole eco system is running at full speed again.

TIP appreciated...thanks.... Peter

I've got a few of those, too!

Glad it was an easy fix and you're up and running again.
