Is The Password Generator Dead???

I've been using a great little email app called Edison Mail for ages, then suddenly it can't access my emails. I've been trying to access the Password Generator but just keep getting the message:

''Sorry, something seems to have gone wrong. Please check your connection and try again later.''

I've seen conflicting posts about it working, then not working, but no matter what I try (different browser, clearing cache, etc) I still get the same message. Has it stopped working completely? And if so, how do I get my app working again??

I've tried Sky's chat help but with no luck, they're going to escalate it, but I'll have to wait till they get back to me.

@TH3+5HAD it appears to have been disabled. All reference to it in Sky's help guides has been removed. They recommend accessing Sky Yahoo Mail via the website instead.

If you are using this email app then unless you are setting up a new account to it your generated passwords should still work so is this not the case ?

As @caesarome says the lack of the generator should not stop Edison Mail working.

However, should you wish to  reinstall your Sky email address in Edison Mail it wont need a generated password, just select the account type as Yahoo, and use your normal password.

Hi.

For some reason the app just stopped connecting and I kept getting the message that I had to 'reconnect the account' but Sky/Yahoo just kept refusing it.

After a lot of searching I actually managed to find my old code and it worked, so back up and running again.

Well done, and keep a record of your generated password, in case you need it again.

Did you try adding the account again, using Yahoo as the provider?
