I want to remove 2 step verification

I had to change my sky/yahoo e mail password and accepted 2 step verification which I would now like to remove

When you signed up to 2FA you were given a recovery code so if you didn't make a note of it then check the email you were also sent.

To turn off 2FA sign in with the recovery code.

Recovery code is 8 characters  - verification code 6

The recovery code is given to you after you've used the verification code.

I was sent the recovery code after I acceopted 2 step verification. I was told to keep a note of it

@Espedair as @caesarome posted you log in with your recovery code to turn off 2FA, which was your original question.

It is a bit confusing, you have to say you don't have the verification code, before you can use the recovery code.
