Each time I set out to do this and the question is asked on the screen do you want to delete all 187,000 (Five year's worth) I stop selecting 2,500 at a time by fast scrolling downwards and take this option. The status bar comes up and slowly moves up to 100% completed, only to then take me back to the deleted list without a single email moved. Currently, it is a chore to shift a few thousand at a time with my finger on downward scroll!
Surely there is a simpler tech solution? I do not wish to do anything dramatic as i need the account and I have some very serious emails for legal purposes stored in my Priority mailbox.
I do hope there is a solution.
KInd regards.

If they are in your Deleted Items folder, do you not have the "Empty Deleted Items folder" option?

Used the bin icon as suggested and screen spools on status bar that freezes on 0% and you cannot shift off page unless you close the email site.
Other solutions welcome. I also believe some I thought were deleted earlier today have returned...possibly still on server?

If you remove them from here then they are being deleted from the server so shouldn't return unless they were not actually deleted.
