I'm getting a good few spam emails that haven't got an email address. Is there a kind soul out there that can help me block these emails because they're getting quite frequent?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThere is never going to be a perfect way of blocking an spam email but if you mark them as spam the system should learn so they are sent to your trash/bin folders. You will not be able to stop them from being sent to your account.

Even spam emais have an email address, but there is no point blocking them, they use different addresses all the time.
As @caesarome says the spam filter is the only way to reduce them.

Well, that's not really a helpful reply to my problem. When I say the emails don't have email addresses, that's exactly what I mean, they don't have email addresses and that is the problem.

If you're looking at your email account online via sky.com there are advertising messages at the top. An ad=blocker suitable for your browser will get rid of them.

Well I think it is. You say you are getting emails without an email address. That is impossible, so as @Mark39 says they are not emails. And blocking is not the way to deal with spam, even if they were.

I'll try one more time, these are emails that Yahoo mail has added to my spam folder. Usually, I click on block senders and Yahoo blocks all future and already sent emails from that sender.
But these emails don't have an email address for Yahoo to block so they keep coming.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs I said, every email has to have a return address, it's how the email system works, without one it wouldn't get through. If they are in the spam folder why are you worrying? That is the system doings it's job. What would be the point of blocking them?
Perhaps a picture would help me (us?) understand.

I agree.
By definition an email comes from somewhere and must have a sending address, so this makes no sense. I don't have anything in my spam folders in Sky Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Mail to be able to check what you're seeing. So please do post a picture.
Or give Sky a call, if you prefer.

Yes, it will have an email address!! BUT IT'S NOT SHOWING IT!! GET IT?
I don't need a lecture on how emails work thank you.

If you click on the three little dots next to the "not spam" in your screenshot, you will see ""block sender"" that's what I'm talking about, But I have a sneaky suspicion you can't help me with this problem?
But thanks for trying.

I don't believe other Community members trying to help want or deserve to be shouted at, either. Suggest you take it up with Sky.

Well, it sounds like you do,especiallyy if you think blocking is the way to deal with spam.
AND it was you who said it didn't have one, not it didn't have one showing.
