How do I ask for a delivered and a read receipt for an email

I need to know that an email has been delivered (I need proof that I can show if necessary).  I'm looking for a delivered and read receipt.  Thank you  @RES121

It isn't possible via Sky email online to get a receipt or a delivered email.

You can do this via Outlook by following these instructions:

Thank you and also for the Outlook feature. Guess I'll use that account when it's something important.

It will only work if the recipient also uses Outlook and chooses to allow the read/received acknowledgement to be sent. It's not reliable.

That's why i didn't mention it in my original reply, it's proprietary to Outlook not email
