Having emails automatically received in their file?

I've managed it before but can't remember how I organised it so E-mails received go directly into their sub file.

Received E-mails saved in files

I've set it up before but can't remember how to have newly received E-mails saved in their files. Please remind me.

It isn't clear just what you are asking, do you possibly mean saved in folders?

Re: Received E-mails saved in files

Yes I've folders for all my connections and want their emails to go directly into their folders.

Assuming you are using the web version of email (rather than using an app/client) you would do it by setting up filters.

You can do that under Settings - More Settings - Filters,

E-mails saved automatically in their folders

Setting up E-mails to be saved in their folders automatically, I've done it before and can't remember how my newly received E-mails our automatically saved in their own folders. How's this set up?

I've added your latest post to the thread you started yesterday. What happened when you followed @jayach's instructions?
